Garnier Rose water cleanser and toner

One of the biggest crazes in the beauty world right now is rose water. It is used in plenty of moisturisers and simply just as a spray to replenish the skin. And why not? Rose water has many amazing properties such as reducing wrinkles, tightening pores, moisturising etc. It no wonder that people living as long ago as Roman times used rose water. It is a beauty treatment that has been used even since before Egyptian Queen known for her ancient beauty secrets, Cleopatra.

 

Now garnier has come out with a new rose water skinactive collection which I, of course has to jump on the band wagon and buy myself the Rose water cleansing milk and the rose water toner. I tested them out for about a week and I thought that I would share my thoughts.

My first thought was that they they both smell amazing! I would describe the scent as a fresh, floral (obviously) scent that is subtle yet refreshing which I am obsessed with at the moment.

 

The cleansing milk does take off your make up very well and leaves a soft finish to you skin. I would say though that to get this result you would have to use a lot of the product at a time. However my skin has felt extra moisturised and smooth this week.

 

  The toner was also a success- it was cool on my face with again, not a major fragrance but an undertone of a fresh scent which woke me up and replenshed my skin. Also this product was very gentle on my skin and was a nice thing to use to finish off my skincare routine.

Hats off to Garnier for these products- they're excellent for people like me who are on a budget and this week my skin has felt incredible. I'm a big fan of rose water and I can't wait to try out more rose water products!
